SABRIL (vigabatrin) is a prescription medicine used with other therapies in kids and adults 2 years of age and older with refractory complex partial seizures (CPS) that have not reacted all right to several other treatments and if the feasible benefits exceed the threat of vision loss.

It is recommended that your healthcare provider test your (or your child's) vision before or within 4 weeks after starting SABRIL and a minimum of every 3 months throughout therapy until SABRIL is stopped. If you or your child have any side effect that bothers you or that does not go away, tell your healthcare service provider.

Tell your doctor if you are expecting or mean to get expectant. If vision screening can not be done, your healthcare provider may continue recommending SABRIL, however will not have the ability to look for any type of vision loss. If vision examinations are not done routinely, your doctor might quit prescribing SABRIL for you (or your kid).
